Wildflowers 06:04
Breathe me in your skin I breathe you in my skin the most Holding me in your arms I hold you in my arms alone Hello glad I saw you today You know I’ve got nothing to say Need me like I need you I need you like you needed me Take a look overhead I take a look overhead I see you here Hello how’d I find you today You know I need nothing to say I close my eyes its blue in you and clear as day Have I lost my mind losing you

In August 03:41
I’ll wait for the morning to come Night bleeds in a darkened kingdom The moon lights my sky and I wonder why Wait for me Emily I woke up in August breathing To a heart full brown eyes so soothing The moon lights my sky and I don’t care why Wait for me Emily The moon lights my sky and I wonder why Grip me Calm me

Further 05:24
Rippling waters are coming my way A flow in the tide sets the sail that’s been here for days The fog thickens in with a wind that’s too thin to trace You belong to no place that belongs in no space I’d chase Now its further than the sight to see it It’s a long way down into the depths of meaning And your bones get colder at the height of seasons With a lack of patience in the air your breathing Boulders of fear how their tumbling my way A cool of the mist lets me go ‘til I feel okay But it’s a breeze off the river that makes me shiver the most Until a breath off the coast lets me know that I’m close to home You’ve gotta be kidding me I’ve been alone For too long to know which way to go

Fall comes in through the door The wind on its feet my eyes hit the floor I see the wood makes room for no sound With a cool in the air and leaves on the ground I feel a breeze move in through the trees When the storm is near I hear the wind singing Walls break in through the core The strength in my knees collapse to the floor I see the bones adjust to the ground With a hole in my soul that breaks pound for pound I see the tide move in from outside When the storm is near I hear the wind singing Storm comes in on the water Where you go I won’t follow

about

A dynamic three piece indie folk band from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Ostrea Lake's music gently rises and swells, sometimes rippling, often calm. Centering strongly around the rich vocal abilities of lead singer and baritone ukulele player Elias Abi Daoud, Ostrea Lake builds powerful and enchanting songs. Rippling Waters EP brings forward their most melodically driven and carefully crafted music to date.
