Somewhere between upbeat pop punk hooks and honest folk styling sits Car School. Creating a sound that is both unique and catchy, from 8-bit synths to solid guitar riffs - Car School brings a new level of energy to the idea of the solo project.

Based in Southern Massachusetts, Car School is predominately Ryan Higgins. Formed in the summer of 2013, Ryan plays guitar and sings, while sequencing drums and synths. The results are a tight sounding, full on pop punk sound.

Clocking in at less that 14 minutes - Weakly showcases Car School’s energy and solid composition, without any dead weight.

Track Name: Twelve Forty-Five
All of the people that I went to school with are going somewhere in their lives while I'm sitting here in my parents basement, thinking what am I doing with mine?

I'm waiting for the call. There's no more alcohol. I'm staring at the cup but I don't see it filling up. It's quarter to one and there's still room for two.
Track Name: Manse Hill
I like when we talk about my future in your kitchen for hours till I end up dizzy, passing out right on your floor. We speak in different tongues and drink on different playing fields. Offer me another one, just so that I know it's real.

I like these guys, they're alright.

I like when we smoke on your back porch and then we go inside, it's comforting to know that I'm alive with you and we're alright. Cut me off or let me stay, I'd like to think you wouldn't mind. My house is not that far away, so it's ok, I'll walk this time.

I like these guys, they're alright.

The nights we have will never be much like the ones we used to see on Manse Hill. Forget your life, forget the times you've wasted. You're wasted.
Track Name: Under The Cliff
Why don't you come inside? Why don't you realize? This house is safe tonight, this house is all we have, alright? And I don't want to go home.
Track Name: Old As New
The bridge has burned away, we used to walk it every now and then. I loved you everyday, you loved me only as a friend.

The pictures are torn but only a few, the ones on the wall hang alone and askew. The pictures are torn. But only of you.
Track Name: Gopher It
You're running, you can't keep running. You're running but you can't keep up.

You're falling, you keep on falling. You're falling and there's no one around. There's no one...

I can't hear you calling out for me.
Track Name: The Short End
I get the short end of the stick, and it's burning in my hands. You see me holding onto it, but you could never understand. If you want to see me die, all you have to say is get a life, then I'll be off and you'll be on your way.

Track Name: Land Shark
Ping pong balls and broken dreams, only way to define you. And with a broken DVD, that couldn't be fixed with just glue.

You decide, I decide, still can't find you when you hide.

You decide, I decide.

Backstabbers don't dress in black, they will wait till you are gone. Hindered thoughts around your neck, prove to those that you're not strong.

You decide, I decide, still can't find you when you hide.

You decide, I decide.
